Hillsdale Hunting and Fishing Retreat Hat Patch Design

Hillsdale College commissioned two patches for their annual hunting and fishing retreats. For the hunting patch, I illustrated one or three pheasants with corn stalks, creating a dynamic composition that highlights the natural textures and wildlife of the retreat. The fishing patch features a Redfin fish jumping over the Charleston skyline, combining local landmarks with playful, clean illustration. Both designs were created from scratch using reference photos, with attention to scale, detail, and legibility so they would work perfectly as embroidered or printed patches while still feeling visually engaging.
